Avocado Tree from Seed Easy and Fast

You probably already know that you can grow a cute little avocado plant from the pit inside the avocado fruit, but do you want to know how to do it quickly and easily? Here’s how to do it – it works every time! After eating the avocado, keep the pit which you need to clean. Also, be careful not to harm the pit when removing it from the avocado. If possible, remove the brown outer shell carefully, again without harming the pit. This will make the pit sprout as quickly as possible – but if it’s too difficult, just leave it. Then you wrap the pit in two to three pieces of paper towel, soak it with water and put it in a plastic bag, which you close leaving a little air inside. Now you place the bag a warm and dark place, for instance under your bed or under your kitchen sink. It will take a couples of weeks for the seed to sprout, so check it once every week to see if there’s any progress. It took 2-3 weeks before this seed began to sprout, so you need a little patience – and keep in mind the germination time can differ from seed to seed. When you see roots forming and the seed start to split in half, it’s time to transfer the seed into soil. I just used regular potting soil and that worked perfectly. Leave the pit in a windowsill with plenty of light, and you will soon see leafs start to form. Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid overwatering. And soon you will have a beautiful avocado plant of your own! Are you going to try out this method? Do you also want to know how to grow a lemon tree from seed? I have made a simple guide that works every time right HERE.

Hold jorden jævn fugtig, men undgå overvanding. Og snart vil du have dit helt eget smukke avocadotræ!
